Well, it is another day that I write with no reason. The only way I can see my post is when I log into my account! I find this quite frustrating!!!! Pings, HTML's, URL's, Settings, PDA's just all start running together and once again I am annoyed. While I am sure this a short term feeling and I will be back plugging away later!

Simple Times!

I am sitting here thinking about a simpler time in life! You know what I am talking about. The time when you were younger and didn't have a mortgage and family to worry about. It was a crucial time in life for most of us. This was the time we picked the road we chose to travel. Whether it be business or love. As young as we were I really believe we put our best thoughts and efforts in to this endeavor and sometimes at no real fault of our own we took the turn that we will wonder about for years into the future. 23 years later I still wonder what would have happened If I had stuck to that road I wanted to travel so much. The love and soul mate that was always there but elusive due to impatience and lack of confidence on my part. It was the thought of failure that kept me from traveling that road. While good friends, the question was never asked. The question that possibly could have changed both our lives had we taken that chance. I have often thought, You cannot look to the future if you are constantly looking to the past. But no matter, I often found myself thinking of the one I may have left behind. The one I looked for year after year without success. Now, I have a beautiful wife, 5 kids between us and two dogs, a house, 2 cars and motorcycle. What more could I want? You are probably thinking, What a greedy ungrateful bastard! You are probably right, for after 22 years I have found the elusive soul mate. We have more in common than I could ever have imagined. No, there is no sexual or intimate conversation. It is like where we left off 23 years ago but we are more mature now.

Great American Bailout?

I am just a simple American. I work hard and try to raise my family in today's trying times. I have a mortgage, two kids at home, 2 dogs and a frog. I would like to think I care about my neighbors and the other families in our country. Like most of us, I wonder just how much this bail out is going to cost us. No matter what other countries and people might think we do not have a never ending money tree in this country. Someone will pay for this Great American Bailout! That my friends will be you and I! No matter what our great leaders say, someone has to pay the bill. So, on top of paying YOUR mortgage and other bills you will be bailing out BIG AMERICA. I ask you, where is our lobbyist? Our congressmen, our state rep's whose pockets are lined by the Big Business Lobbyists? No....we are on our own. This bill is being presented as a way for Big Business on Wall Street to continue loaning money. What about us? What about the Simple American? We are the ones that spend the money that makes our economy run. How about paying our mortgages instead. Then WE as Americans could ensure that our great economy continues to turn by putting our money back into the systems. But no, our leaders choose to bail out the few! So while you, the Simple American are wondering if you are going to be the next victim, you can guarantee that Big America will be eating at the best restaurants and playing golf at the best clubs. They will do this because we have let them! The Blue Chips will still look down at us as the Small Investor, The Medium Income Household and the Poor! Yet we are the ones that will be paying their bill. So Big America, for taking all that you can get on the back of the Simple American, This No Name Beer Is For You!
